In 1776 a young but strong Country told it's oppressor 'no more', we were more than just tired of English Rule. So the small Country issued the Declaration of Independence. After a Revolutionary War the small Country issued The Constitution Of The United States Of America, officially claiming it's right as a full fledged Country.
But, our Country is nothing like it was then, in some ways it is good. We are free of Slavery and Sexism (sort of) but we are now faced with another similar problem with our LGBT Community, America is doomed to repeat it's past mistakes and I for one have an idea on why this is; we have 'Parties', this 'Party' system makes the voters lazy, not caring what there Candidate actually stands for so long as the Candidate is the rite 'Party'. So these 'Parties' are just further dividing our Nation that is already unstable in our current Economic Crisis. The idea of our Nation is amazing! And it brings all kinds of people to our Country but when they get here, they find America is not the 'promised land' they heard so much about.
For our Nation to ever become what our Founding Fathers believed it could be, we need to say 'goodbeye' to 'Parties'. We need to research things diligently before ever believing it or voting for someone as our Mayor all the way up to our President.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Pekrul
